The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has temples around the world, which are used not for regular weekly congregation meetings but for special ceremonies, such as weddings for eternity. A Temple was recently built, located within walking distance of Versailles. These temples have ‘visitors centers’ which anyone can visit. (Thus the clever name.) Madeline, who had worked and served in the Paris are for 18 months, had made arrangements with her mission president to meet here.

After our visit, we hopped on the train and went back to our apartment on Champs Elysees.
