The Mont was such an amazing experience, personally and photographically, that Jim went back at night to take some nighttime photos.

There were low, broken clouds scudding across the night sky. Stars were visible in the breaks between clouds, and the water could be heard under the causeway. The Mont is only dimly lit (to the eye) but the lights would brightly illuminate a cloud if it passed right over.
